Hey Everyone!
Venture Holding Company is here for pilots who want to drop industry items, salvaged goods and any general selling order needs that you have.We often don't have time to play penny games on the market. Market PVP can be infuriating so go on, get out there, let us handle the small stuff!
Since we're starting out, we aren't taking cuts off of any returns (limited time only)
Here's how it works, it's really easy:
- Contract your list of goods to Venture Holding Company, up to you if you want to utilize https://eve-central.com/ to appraise your list of goods.
- We accept the contract and will immediately start selling the items.
- ISK will be sent back once all the items have been sold.
If you guys can help me by posting within this thread if you decide to choose us, to provide transparency and accountability for us? It'll act as a testimonial as we go through contracts as I can imagine how timid some folks may be when it comes to this kind of service - I get it!
We can be found on Twitter!: VentureHoldingC
Thanks folks, looking forward to doing business with everyone!

Koniforous wrote:You shld consider taking out a business loan request on market discussions forum, and paying pilots for their contracted goods right away instead of waiting for their goods to sell. Any pilot could just use the mass sell feature to get some isk right away. Your service should get them isk right away, but also more than the sell window.
I had thought about doing something like that, I just wouldn't have a co-signer at this point and I'd hate to have a massive debt looming over my head when I first start out. I'd rather do partnerships at this point, ISK for services.
Currently, the corporation could handle and cover 200 Mil in assets upfront per contract. The corp could maybe possibly do a 50% now, 50% later type of policy but that sadly would have to depend as well.
But to revisit your point though, I agree - Buying the goods upfront and having cash in hand immediately is something that I'm working towards - Just don't have the assets to get that going.

Luthias Austrene wrote:As a trader, could I contract you some of the more expensive, slow-moving ships that I trade? I'm just thinking that this could be exploited rather easily for a quick sale by lots of people. Depending on the cut you take (or will take in the future), it could be in my interest to get a quick sale without babysitting at a value close to existing sell orders. A few quick questions:
1) Do you have an ISK/order limit per person? 2) Are there any limitations as to what people can contract you? 3) Do you base your calculations off the Jita sell price? 4) What will your take be once this free period is over?
I think interested people would need the answers to these questions, and the answers should probably be edited into the original post and updated as your business grows.
Cista2 wrote: Someone I know very well did something similiar back in 2009, and it became a quite large business. However, the industrialists were paid upfront when they contracted me the goods.
More questions: 5) You are not implying any geographical limits in your post, what are you going to do when people contract you stuff in null sec? 6) You say that people can appraise the goods before they contract them to you, but why should they do that if you don't pay them money until the goods have been sold by you?
Anyway, I like that someone is trying someone new in these near-deserted forums, so I am contracting you a large Aurum token in Jita to get you started. Send me a PM when you have sold it :)
Awesome questions!
1. ISK limit at the moment hasn't been decided. I can provide up to 200 Mil upfront until our assets grow! This is so you don't leave empty handed during the handover period and delivery delay. I want you to get your ISK ASAP.
2. Please - No Insignias
3. Personally, I use Jita as a guide due to the volume in which items are being sold at. In terms of calculating the worth of the goods, you can choose what you'd like to expect and we can work around that. But it's best to make an educated decision of course.
4. It's hard to say at this point, but I'm gauging between 5-7% as a possible skim. But has been finalized and set in stone.
5. Heh, yes - That would be a wicked stretch to say the least! The short answer is this: Jita is where I'm stuck until I'm done laying down the groundwork. Long answer: until I do expand and have (experienced) haulers from within Venture Holding Company to be able to pick up your goods (for a fee) and bring it back to a central trading hub and sell them on your behalf.
6. It's merely optional. If you, the client, want more hands on with the assigning a net worth of your industrial goods that you've manufactured over the course of the week, you could set an amount you're willing to get back. Then there's folks that have salvaged items and just want to get their ISK in value as soon as they can.
*Once I do acquire a decent sum to work with within the corporation, I'd like it to work like this as an example: You come to me with 20 Rifters you've made but you don't know what price you can sell them at. Venture Holding Company immediately buys them from you and you can walk away immediately with the cash, walking away with approximately 6 Mil in hand without having to fuss about with the market(s).
@Luthias Austrene I will most definitely be building on the first initial post as more and more questions are answered. In terms of your ships and working something out, please seek me in-game perhaps?
@Cista2 - You are truly generous! Thank you so very much!

Cista2 wrote:Generous is not the word you want to use to describe business partners, the items are not gifts.
Also. to get goods the best option is to spam local chat channels, in my time I also set up spam cargo containers in empire space where haulers were coming through.
People in the MD forum would prefer to give you their money instead of their goods. Therefore, my advise is also to think about making a bond to get some money in your pocket, and start paying customers in Jita upfront - that way you can get more goods and take a much larger fee.
In all honesty - You're my first (business) contract ;)
Great ideas, going to be exercising them very frequently.

Torn Aele wrote:You can use Haulers Channel in game to post courrier contracts generally fast and good pricing. For small stuff under 500m collateral probably cost 500k a jump or less but higher rewards will get taken quicker. You can do some networking find haulers you like and use them instead of public contracts.
Very cool! Definitely want to make sure they're reputable and dependable however, want quality than quantity at this point!
Thanks for the awesome suggestion though.
-UPDATE-
We have a channel for those wanting to chat.
"#VHC" is the channel name. |

Dreth en Wealth wrote:Cista2 wrote:Seduc wrote:5 minutes and had ISK in hand for my items. I must admit I don't understand what this service does, even after having used it :) The OP should be able to explain it better IMO. I agree the original post could use a little more explanation. From what I can understand, he's offering immediate fast ISK for those that want it (salvage, random loot, etc), or optional pay adjustments for industrialists expecting a certain degree of profit. I also have a few additional questions: 1) What makes you any different than the dozens of people in the WTB forum doing the same thing? Do you have an Eve-Mogul account or anything we can use to verify that you know what you're doing? Willing to offer a full API? 2) Why try to hire your own haulers instead of using readily available sources like RFF/PushX? They're already very cheap and would eliminate a lot of hassles. 3) Say I want you to sell X good at Y price. Since I have to offer the goods up front, what assurances do I have that I will ever get my money? Will you be willing to use third party holders or offer collateral? Or would you just take the asking price (assuming it's reasonable) and hope you could actually make a profit? (this is risky and leads to question 4) 4) Will you be posting profits/losses to shareholders on any timetable? How/when will potential shareholders be paid out? Edit: Would also like to point out, your Corp Description says up to 300mill, the OP says 500mill, and your twitter says 3bill.
Good stuff here Dreth!
To start, I've taken yours and Cista2's comments and revamped the original post to hopefully clarify for any new readers and possibly yourselves on how we're operating. :)
On to Dreth's questions,
1. For starters, we do it for you so you don't have to click through forums or contracts ingame. Secondly,we buy the goods from you immediately instead of you waiting for the sale and possibly having panic sink in a little since you just handed a large amount of items with nothing to show for it . In terms of eve-mogul, no idea what that really is, I'll be literally going onto their site as we speak to get info and see how it works. Google docs may be the best option in terms of accountability till I'm able to make up my mind regarding API. The issue with API is that it can give too much or unnecessary info for anyone using it. I'll investigate the options though!
2. You have a point. We don't want to really stretch ourselves too thin too soon! I'll check them out and we'll see how it goes!
3. Hopefully since I've updated the OP, it will be clearer for not just yourself, but any potential client that we are willing to pay up to 3 billion ISK upfront as an insurance measure. This is based off of what the corp is comfortably able to handle and will grow as time goes on.
4. In terms of shareholders, I'd like to hopefully have something payout bi-weekly to the shareholders. However, this is entirely up to the amount of clients we are getting and what corps we have established a relatively healthy and regular business relationship with. I'm hoping to iron out the stock side of the business soon, but I'm eager to get this company off the ground first before I start asking for money and selling a part of the business away as I won't be able to properly gage the opening strike price.
P.S I've also gone through Twitter, OP and Corp description to make it all consistent. We've been growing and had worked out a decent deal with an investor. It's all happening rapidly! |

Hmm.. Perhaps I shouldn't have put "Sell Order" within the subject. Getting drowned out by all the sell orders now!
Spread the word folks. I've added a client ledger found here for a list of past clients and the amount of ISK handled |

Updated - It looked pretty messed up.
